Re:Sound - Demo in a Day

Find a suitable* location and we will turn up with everything to record your music.   At the end of the day you will have a finished CD and data file in your hand.  You can be assured of the highest production values.

Naturally, if you have lots of material to record, we can tailor our service to meet your requirements.  As a rough guide, 20 minutes of finished product should be possible in a day, provided that overdubbing is not required.   Remember that complex tracks take much longer to complete.

As a musician, the more prepared you are, the better the end result.  The phrase ‘fix it in the mix’ is often used as a cover for under-prepared performance.

As an extra to your  ‘Demo in a Day’ we can cater for production runs (of any quantity) and design work – either your own artwork or our designs.

*Suitable Location

1.     A large room (eg village hall) with a reasonably high ceiling is best.

2.     Curtains are good as they help prevent sound reflecting off the walls.  Sofas, carpet, books etc all help too

3.     Try to find somewhere quiet.  Traffic can be very annoying.

4.     Make sure that your music is not going to annoy anyone.

5.     A separate control room is very useful (but not essential).

6.     If you are using a piano, you may want to arrange to have it tuned.   Is the piano good enough for your needs?

7.     Any hire costs are your responsibility.
